Olivia Goes to Venice

It was time for spring vacation. Olivia decided that she and her family ought to spend a few days in Venice. There was a lot of packing to be done.

"Olivia, you won't be needing your snorkel", said her mother, "or your flippers."

"Mother, apparently the city is often under water and ----"

Both geographically and artistically, Olivia Goes to Venice is an adventure for my girl. Charcoal and gouache illustrations and photos of the city popped up from white pages, the beautiful Venice is never too far away from imagination.

Olivia takes her discerning eyes to the beautiful Venice. Bridges, the Grand Canal, Piazza San Marco, the gondola ride and the numerous gelatos that Olivia consumed made this humorous and educational.
